Adam Again was fronted by Eugene Emil Harvey Andrusco, professionally known as Gene Eugene.
Gene was born in Fort Frances, Ontario, Canada. At the age of 6, Gene and his parents moved to Southern California. As a child, Gene appeared in a number of television programs, mainly as a cartoon character voice credited as Gene Andrusco.
Gene Eugene passed away on 19 March 2000 in Huntington Beach, California at his studio-home, The Green Room, in his sleep. The untimely death, due to an undiagnosed brain aneurism, was an atypical death for a musician. There are so many examples of musicians dying violent deaths, such as the motorcycle crash that killed Kevin Mills or the Jeep accident that threw Rich Mullins in the path of a tractor-trailer on the Interstate.
