On July 27, 1993 Steve Taylor and a small film crew set out on one of the most ambitious film shoots ever undertaken by a rock artist. Defying skeptics, sleep patterns, and occasionally gravity, Taylor directed and starred in five music videos from his highly-acclaimed new album Squint. He caused traffic jams in the streets of Hanoi, Vietnam; he dangled off suspension bridges in the Himalayas; he dodged angry camels on the plains of Cappadocia, Turkey; and the entire advanture was captured in dazzling 35mm big-screen color.
Tragically, Steve never made it back alive.* But the video you're about to see serves as both a fitting tribute and a touching memorial to this visonary recording artist and filmmaker.
* O.K., he did actually make it back alive, but he was really tired when he got home.
