The Butterfly Page of The Pembroke Area Field Naturalists.

Our Club has been keeping butterfly occurrence records since 1988, but other data is added when found, such as specimens in collections that bring to light new information on the species and distribution of Renfrew County butterflies.

Two butterfly counts are conducted in July which have given rise to most of our modern butterfly records:

The Lake Dore Count. Usually held around July 1-3 every year, and
The Hog Island Count. Held two weeks later.
