26 Dec 03 - I'm looking for the family of Annie Fraser Campbell, born in Scotland. She lived in Inverness and worked in Woolworths. She married Peter George Winters Pond from Badger's Quay, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland in Inverness, Scotland in 1945. She bore a daughter named Diana Campbell Pond on August 28, 1945 in Inverness, Scotland. They lived on 82 Innes Street, Inverness, Scotland. Annie's mother's name was Mary S Campbell.

Both Annie and her husband moved to Badger's Quay in July of 1946 where they resided until their death. Annie's brothers names were Tommy Campbell and Colin Campbell. Colin lived on 30 Carse Road, Inverness. She had two sisters whose names were Dolly Gunn who lived on 51 West Drive, Inverness and Mrs. Ian Grant who lived on 85 St. Valery Ave, Inverness. She also had a brother named Alexander Campbell, who lived on 7 Muirtown House, Inverness. Annie's husband served in the Royal Forestry Unit during the war.

I'm married to Annie's daughter, Diana Campbell Pond. Diana was baptized on November 14,1945 at St, Mary's (Gaelic) Church of Scotland, Inverness by Rev Alexander Boyd of St. Mary's (Gaelic) Church of Scotland, Inverness. The family is anxious to rediscover the extended family who lives in Scotland. We do know that Diana's cousins still live in Scotland and would love to find them. Diana and I have never been privileged to meet her extended family unfortunately before her Mom and Dad died. We are just wanting to find them in the worst kind of way.

17 Dec 03 - I received a Christmas card forwarded to me from Mabel Sexsmith to my mother. I can't find Mabel's address anywhere and I believe her late husband, Ted, was also in the 310 Squadron and that is how my parents met -- at a reunion I believe. Mabel, unfortunately did not have her return address on the envelope and I would like to write to her to tell her about my mother. I think she lives in either Manitoba or Alberta.

9 Dec 03 - Ralph Stephen Morgan who was born 26/12/56 left South Wales on Christmas Eve 2000 and nobody has heard of him since. There is a rumor he left to meet his girlfriend Geraldine in New York. If you can help locate him please contact Marilyn Moses

10 Dec 03 - am looking for Daniel Corneau. He joined the military in about 1993. His trade is EME and he was posted to Valcartier. I dated Dan for 4 years and was engaged to marry him but I broke off the engagement. I want to know how he is. If anyone knows anything about Dan, please contact Sharon Robertson.

2 Nov 03 - My name is Tyler Austen Rae and I am writing to you in a request for information, regarding my brother Kevin James Neuman. His parents who were unmarried at the time felt they had no choice but to give up their son for adoption as they were financially unstable and were very young. During my mother’s pregnancy she stayed at the Bethany Hope Centre, for young women. My mother gave birth on April 14, 1963 to Kevin at the Ottawa Grace Hospital in Ottawa Ontario.

Shortly after birth Kevin was adopted through the Renfrew Family and Children’s Services in Pembroke, Ontario. Kevin’s biological parents are Diane Martha Neuman (now Diane Martha Rae), and James Thomas Rae. I am unaware of anything else besides his name at birth and birth date. I wrote a letter to Childrens Services and waited a year for a reply and after a year of waiting I phoned and was told it was never received and to send it again and wait up to another year for a reply, if any. I feel I’m at a dead end. Please contact Tyler if you can help.

24 Oct 03 - I'm trying to find any Army buddies who served with my father Anthony (Antoine) Cormier. He was in Debert, Aldershot, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Also in Sault Ste Marie for a year and a half. He also served in Goose Bay, Nfld and Owen Sound, ON. His birthday was 16 Oct 1918. He has been deceased for 17 years and I am trying to find anyone who knew him while he served in the Army. 23 Sep 03 - Carol MacDonald (nee Miller) is looking for a girl she went to elementary school with in Hafford, Saskatchewan. Her name was Muriel Mudryk and she left in Grade 4. She had three brothers, Marcel, Roger and Wilfred. They were in the Hafford area around 1969-1070. Her father was possibly a police officer in the town. Please contact Carol

6 Sep 03 - I would love to hear from this great, once in a lifetime love - Kirsten Otto. Our love remained platonic as she was promised to another but I never forgot her. We met in Lahr, Germany in 1978 (she'd be 45 now I think) and married a tank or artillery officer. I heard of her last in 10980 when she was in Calgary with her husband but divorce seemed imminent and she may have moved back to Germany. God willing I will find her again. Andre Chartrand

11 Jul 03 - I am looking for a very special friend that I lost contact with in 1989 or 1990 when i moved from Laval to come to Lac St Jean. Her name is Johanne Nadeau and she is married to Garry Harrisson. If anyone knows where I could get in contact with her please let me know. 7 Jul 03 - I am looking for my friend Ethel Smith, her husband's name is Wayne. The last time we were in touch was just before we moved from Dartmouth NS, in 1994 to CFB Aldergrove. The last we heard (a few months after we moved) they were still stationed at CFB Halifax, but has since retired. They had three sons, David, Billy and James. 24 Jun 03 - I am trying to locate a old friend of mine by the name of Ann Nelson (Monett). The last contact I had with her was in 1988 when she came to visit me in Shearwater. At that time she was posted to Ottawa. She has a son named Christopher who was born in Dec of 87. As far as I know she got out of the military (I think she may be divorced) and may have moved to Florida. It would make my day to get in touch with her. It has been along time. Thank you . 22 June 03 - I joined the CAF in 1977, Nov 11. I am looking for Leslie Purdy who was my good friend and I have not seen her since Jan 1978. I know she went to Borden and I went to Esquimalt and I have always thought of her. She married a guy last name Temparrick I think. She was a Med A and went to various postings. I am out in BC and I really don't think it is possible to find her but who knows. I would love to see her again. She might be in Alberta maybe Oldham. Her dad retired in Petawawa. I last had contact with her around 1998 after receiving a call from her. She had apparently been working for Kaiser Permanente in California at the time. 02 May 03 - I need to find Sherilyn to let her know that she totally misunderstood the postcard she received from Australia which was the cause of our break-up. this happened in 1976 in Portland, Oregon (Terwilliger Boulevard) and I never had a chance to explain to her about the report card. 23 Apr 03 - My husband and I would like to find our old friends Melanie & Craig Turcotte. Melanie and Craig have five children now, their oldest daughter Morgan was my son's friend. Last time I heard from Melanie, she was in Gagetown 1998 (Oromocto) and her husband Craig worked in RCR. Craig and my husband used to work together both in the Airborne and in RCR.

10 Apr 03 -I've been trying to find someone through what's available online. But I haven't been able to. We have a friend (Carol Scriber) who hasn't seen her son for twelve years. She believes he's 40 years old. I've searched through yahoo, hotmail, US search, who where, etc. but couldn't find the person. His name is John Frances (or Francis) Scriber and he used to live in Oregon. His wife's name is Rebecca Allen. Carol moved around a lot and thinks that's why her son might not have been able to find her. Please contact Clara Crooks

10 Apr 03 - Darla Brown is trying to reconnect with someone whom I can not seem forget about. Marcel Gosselin and I saw each other for a short while, in Vancouver , BC until he was accepted into the Canadian Military in Ontario. We decided to stop seeing each other as a long distance relationship was not fair to either of us. It will be two years this summer that I have seen Marcel, however we spoke briefly last summer. Since then I cannot seem to shake him from my mind. I also have a very hard time getting involved in any other relationships because my heart is stuck on Marcel. I would love to reconnect with him and see if he feels the same way. I last heard he was based at Petawawa, Ontario. If you could locate an address for him that would be fabulous!! Darla

1 April 03 - Her name was Astrid Wekwert and she lived at the Polish Camp at Five Oaks until she was 11 (Which was around 1950 ish). She emigrated to Wisconsin USA and kindly invited Jean to her wedding but at the time she couldn't go and has since lost Astrid's address. My mother would really like to get in touch with Astrid again, she has kept an old black and white photo of her standing with my mum, her mum (whom I believe was called Martha) and another friend called Heather and they were standing outside Mrs. Homers' front door in Groomsland Drive. My mother remembers Astrid had very long black hair, and she married a businessman. I believe her to have moved to Wausau, Wisconsin. 19 Mar 03 - Sharon Fitch would love to find Linda Boulet, married to Conrad, radio technician. "We were close friends at CFS Mont Apica, 1973-75. From there they were posted to CFS Lac St Denis, then Petawawa. That is when I 'lost' them. I believe they went ot Debert, NS. Their children are Frances, Lila, Marcel, Andre and an adopted daughter. 18 Mar 03 - Carole Hillyer is trying to reconnect with Matt Hackler who was born in New Hampshire. They met while stationed in Ft. Sam Houston, X in the mid 70's. (9IGs) She was transferred to Ft. 05 Mar 03 - Timothy Anderson is trying to locate some old friends. Robert and Janis McGuiness. Bob was a MSE Op last based in Edmonton. The posting before that was CFB Toronto. Bob married Janis in 1976/77 and a short time later their daughter Christine was born. Bob was from Brandford, Ontario while Janis was from Toronto. Her grandfather was Major Basil Anderson DSC (Ret'd). Bob left the forces after his posting to Edmonton. Their current whereabouts are unknown but believed to be in or around the Edmonton area. 01 Mar 03 - My husband and I are searching for friend we haven't seen since Lahr, Germany, 1990, Liz and Gerry Browne and they are in Comox, BC. They have changed their phone number and possibly their address too. We know they were living off base. Stupid me, I got a card from them at Christmas time and threw out the envelope before I realized they had moved. They have one child, a teenage boy. 14 Feb 03 - I am trying to find my first love again. We had a great relationship for quite a while. I was a little too young (13-14) and I think he was about 18-19. My parents liked him very much. It was just the age. He had to move out of town and that was about 1980-81 I think. I married, had two kids that are now 13 and 15. I divorced 10 years ago and had boyfriends but I still always wonder what would have been!! I know he also married and had kids but I also heard he was divorced too!
