You were just 17 when you went to sign in
An illustrious career was about to begin
A trucker is what you wanted to be
The military call that 935 MSE
The career ladder you began to climb
From Pte to MWO it seems in no time
They sent you on course to operate cranes
Trucks you've driven, and even jumped out of
planes
Along with the cutbacks and reductions you see
Came a retirement package called FRP
You gave it some thought, saiid "I think Ill get
out"
No second guessing, not the smallest of doubt
A soldier you've been, your country well served
All the best in retirement, it's what you deserve.
