Raging Hermones

The time has come, this point in life

When I am getting old

I’m going through some changes

That’s what I have been told

It started with WOMENstruation

And then the babes were born

But now I feel all weepy

My nerves are getting worn

My WOMENtal heal is failing

My memory’s getting bad

I thought these were my golden years

But why are they so bad??

I keep the windows open

Even though there is a chill

My glasses get all steamy

I feel like I am ill

But it’s just another hot flash

Another to suffer through

I had a HERsterectomy

I thought I’d feel brand new

I will not suffer silently

I’ll cry and scream and yell

I’m going through WOMENopause

I really feel like hell!
