RED FRIDAYS

The Red Fridays Campaign, which began in the USA in 2005, has been taking Canada by storm

since last February.  A campaign to show support for our Canadian Military is fast becoming

a popular Friday event with everyone out and about sporting as much red as they can.

Why?  Because it's easy to do, doesn't cost a penny, unless you don't own something

red, and is so powerful in itself.  

The color red was chosen to represent the blood that has been shed for our freedom.  

Fridays seemed an appropriate day to acknowledge our support since many companies

 have relaxes dress rules on Fridays.

During these troubled times worldwide, many Canadian feel helpless, they want to 

support our troops but are not sure how.  Well, wearing red on Fridays is a very visible, 

tangible way to acknowledge the sacrifices of not only our troops but also their families.

Please join in this wonderful campaign and let's see Canada turn red from coast to coast.
