The days go by so slowly and the sun doesn't shine as bright

I feel like I am walking a lonely path

And the end is not in sight

The nights are far too quiet and too cold without you near

I miss the laughter in your eyes

And your whispered ‘I love you’ in my ear

I wonder what you are doing now

Are you asleep and dreaming of me?

Are we dancing in those dreams of yours?

Like we promised we would be

Darling if you can hear my thoughts

Within your heart and soul

Please know that I am loving  you

And without you I'm not whole

I'll see you in my dreams tonight

As I so often do

Wrapped safe and warm within your arms

Dancing underneath the moon

Every minute of every day you're gone

We are together in our thoughts

Our love keeps us together

Even when we're far apart
