Please pass along my heart wrenching condolences to those of our latest

heroes lost and let them be reminded we share their pain, pride and

their loss but we keep them in our prayers daily. God Bless,  Kerri-Lynn Laroche

I am so sorry to hear of the recent killing of more of your wonderful Canadian servicemen.

When will humankind ever learn the lesson that war and fighting isn't the way to peace?

There must be so much sadness around your area with a lot of grieving families.

My thoughts and empathy are with you and with all people who are facing a changed life because of their loss.

Know that even though I am not part of your lives, strangers do care.

Let there soon be an end to the senseless waste of lives all over the world.

With comforting hugs  Peter and Glenda Godfrey Australia

Words can't express the continuing sadness I feel over the loss of more of Canada's finest.  When will it end?

We continually walk on eggshells - hoping for the best, but trying to prepare ourselves for the worst.

There is no way you can prepare yourself for even the loss of one life.  To all those who are grieving,

know that you are not alone - all Canadians grieve with you and the military family en mass feels your pain - because we share it.

I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers as you say goodbye to your loved ones.

They will never be forgotten.   Dianne Collier, Petawawa

"I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy to all those who

have lost loved ones. My husband served for 20 years and his

last day in the military was Sept. 11, 2001. He wears red every Friday

for his fellow soldiers! Please know that our thoughts and prayers are

with you always. As a tribute to our fallen heroes, I plant Mums at

the Unity Peace Labyrinth in St. Thomas every time we lose one

of our special soldiers. May you walk in beauty and keep the

home fires burning! We love you and support you."

I have a son in the military who has done a six month tour of duty in Afghanistan

and I want to let those who have family members serving there now know that the Canadian people

feel your fear and are so proud of the people who are putting their lives on the line.

They feel they can and should help those who are unable to help themselves.

I am a proud Canadian who feels we have the best Country in the world.

Please forward my message of pride and support to your loved ones.

I am a Canadian who supports the mission.  I am sorry in my heart for all the casualties and I know nothing

I can write will ever replace the lives lost. I remember the soldiers and their families every day,

I wear red on Fridays, I put my two children to bed every night knowing many soldiers wives and husbands

are doing the very same thing. I know that all the service people are doing their duty for me and my family.

All I can do is say “Thank you all. I am proud to be a Canadian and to support you in your mission.”

On behalf of my Red Hat Sisters, I would like to express our deep sadness and sorrow

for the terrible loss that Camp Petawawa has suffered this past week.

Not being from a military background, we sometimes fail to understand and appreciate the difference

that these brave men and women make in the world, we just know that they are out there doing their job.

However this past week this war has hit very close to home.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the injured  and deceased

in these difficult days ahead. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

Sincerely, Linda Bromley and the Scarlet Sisters of Whitewater.

For WO Rick Nolan

Kelly, Ricky,  Jamie, Rodney and Kirsten,

Words cannot express the sadness that we feel at this time for you and the kids.

With all the support from your friends and family proves to you how much Rick was loved by all.

There wasn't a time that we spoke to Rick that he didn't have a huge smile that lit up a room.

Find comfort in the great life you all shared as a family and that Rick will be forever in your heart and soul.

Forever remember by all his friends.

My heart goes out to The RCR family during this terrible time of loss.   Once more you are called upon to find

an inner strength to deal with the loss of more of your  battle group  members.  To the families who have just lost a

loved one and those who are dealing with injuries,  always remember that you are not alone.

Our hearts are all heavy and filled with sadness.   To all families currently dealing with a loved one on this tour,

my thoughts are with you also as I know this is an extremely difficult time for you as well.

 Pro Patria!   Sincerely,  Dianne Collier

To the brave men and women who serve our country..........

We support your bravery and commitment  to bringing stability to Afghanistan. Thank you

for putting your dreams on hold and your lives on the line in order to defend Freedom for us.

June Lindeman, Pembroke, ON

I don't think you have to be Army, Navy, or Air Force, to care. And it doesn't matter where you live.

We all care and hurt for all of you. The best we can do is to pray for you and pray for your safe return,

Sharon & Norm, Halifax, N.S.

Once again the CFB Edmonton military community has suffered a tremendous loss.  Please know that all of

Canada shares your heavy hearts and our thoughts and prayers are with all families who have suffered

a loss or injury to a loved one.

     Sincerely,  Dianne Collier

My heart goes out to you and your family and other members of the service. Canada has lost my real heroes.

Please know that you all in our hearts and prayers.  A note to those who were injured,

I hope that you get better real fast...and remember that you are in our prayers too.

                                                          Julie Spencer, Niagara Falls, ON

The loss of three of CFB Greenwood's finest has shaken the entire military community.  Words just can't

adequately express the sadness I feel.  Please know that you do not grieve alone, we all share your

pain and sorrow.   To those who were injured,  may the love and support of your families,

friends and the entire military community assist you in a speedy recovery.

Sincerely,  Dianne Collier

Even though the sorrow is with you, hold your head high, because your loved one

is still with you in your heart,  and be proud of what he/she did.

  Robert Price

To all of the families having lost loved ones in recent and past conflicts

our thoughts and prayers are with you.

C. Wing, Petawawa, ON

To the families and friends of those we lost: It is truly very difficult to express the feelings of loss to others

that have never been there.  Having a spouse in the military always makes me look at the military news as if

"what if it were me".  I can't imagine the pain of the loss and I just want to send my heart felt condolences

to those who have lost someone so precious.  We are so proud of those who serve for our country.

You can be reassured that they were doing something they believed in and died doing what they did best,

trying to make life easier for others.  My heartfelt thoughts are with you.

Linda Gairdner, Trenton, ON

To the families of Cpl Randy Payne, Lt William Turner, Cpl Mathew Dinning, Bdr Myles Mansdell:

In this your time of sorrow and loss, please know that the thoughts of all Canadians are with you now.

Take care, Kandace Crosby, Petawawa, ON

Although it is difficult to put into words the extent of my feelings for all those families who have lost a loved one,

and to those who are still suffering, please know that you are not alone.  My deepest admiration is there

for all of you and I couldn't be more proud of our military and their families who  sacrifice so much.

Canada is indeed a much better country for having each and every one of you in it.

God Bless you all.   Sincerely,  Dianne Collier
